Candid photography is all about capturing genuine moments without being posed. Which means you are not forced to stand rigid with forced smiles.. It is about capturing true emotions and natural interactions between you and your family.


My goal is to make you feel comfortable, I am not going to stick a camera in your face the moment we meet. I want you to feel like you are hanging out with a friend so you forget about being photographed and enjoy your family and your photo session.

How far in advance should we book a family portrait session?

Bookings can be made in a little as 3 days either using the booking link to self-manage or contact me to book. If you have a special occasion bookings can be made 6 months in advance or even further. I will re-confirm your booking 2 days prior and changes can be made at this time especially if the weather is not looking ideal.

What should we wear for our portrait session?

The clothing you choose for your portrait session can make a huge difference. Keep your clothing simple and coordinating. White tops and khakis or jeans can look casual and smart. Avoid wearing prints, logos and bright colours.

How long does it take to receive the final photos?

Allow 5-10 days to receive your private on-line gallery. This gives me the time to provide professional editing and high resolution images.

Do you offer digital files, prints, or wall art?

I offer digital high resolution images via your own private online gallery.

Coming soon... I will be providing the option to purchase fine art prints and photographic canvases directly from your online gallery..

FAQ

Are the travel expenses included in your packages?

Yes travel expenses are included for locations within Bream Bay and including Whangarei.

Travel outside of Bream Bay may incur additional expense and details will be shared prior to confirmation of your booking..

What locations do you recommend for a portrait session?

Most of my requests are at the beach and popular spots are Ruakaka, Waipu Cove and Langs Beach. Whangarei favourites are Whangarei Falls, Mair Park, Whale Bay and Matapouri. All have their special unique attractions and location is usually chosen because it means something to you and your family. The choice is yours, if you prefer a private location like your home then I am up for that too.
